How this works and common questions
About this tool
Uses the standard loan formula with the rate and term you type. A simple estimate, not advice. Nothing is stored.
How it works
The monthly rate is the annual rate you type, divided by 12. The payment is principal times that rate times (1 + rate) to the power of the months, divided by (1 + rate) to that power minus 1. A zero rate divides the amount by the months.
Rules
A simple estimate, not advice. You type the rate. This tool does not know a lender’s rate. Check the loan paper. Nothing is stored.
