How this works and common questions
About this tool
The fee and the advance are percents of the invoice you type. The yearly figure uses 365 days. This is a simple estimate, not advice. Nothing is stored.
How it works
The fee is the invoice times the fee percent. The advance is the invoice times the advance percent. Both round half away from zero to the cent. The yearly cost is the fee divided by the advance, times 365 divided by the days you type.
Rules
This is a simple estimate, not advice. You type every percent. The year is 365 days. Nothing is stored.
Questions
What is the yearly cost?
The fee divided by the cash advanced, spread over a 365-day year using the days you type. A $10,000 invoice, a 3% fee, a 90% advance and 30 days is 40.56% a year.
What do the percents apply to?
Both percents apply to the invoice amount you type, not to each other. The fee is not subtracted before the advance percent is applied.
Why 365 days?
The year in this formula is 365 days, including in a leap year. The result is rounded half away from zero to 0.01 of a percent.
