About this tool

A percent comes off the list price. A dollar amount comes off the list price and cannot pass it.

How it works

A percent discount is that percent of the list price, rounded to the nearest cent. A dollar discount is the amount you enter, stopped at the list price.

Rules

Nothing is saved and nothing is sent. The promo code is only a label on the result.

Questions

How is the discount worked out?

A percent discount is that percent of the list price, rounded to the nearest cent. A dollar discount is the amount you enter, and it cannot be more than the list price.

How is margin worked out?

Margin is the final price minus the cost, when you enter a cost. Margin percent is the margin divided by the final price. If the final price is zero, the margin percent is left blank.
