About this tool
Each package price is its cost divided by 1 minus the margin on that line. The result leads with the last package. A simple estimate, not advice. Nothing you type is stored or sent.
How it works
For each line, divide the cost by 1 minus the margin and round half up to the cent. Good at $40.00 and 20% is $50.00. Better at $70.00 and 30% is $100.00. Best at $100.00 and 40% is $166.67.
Rules
You can list one, two, or three packages. The headline is the last one. A margin of 100 is not accepted, because the price would not be a finite number. A simple estimate, not advice.
Questions
How is the example worked out?
Good is $40.00 / 0.80 = $50.00. Better is $70.00 / 0.70 = $100.00. Best is $100.00 / 0.60 = $166.666…, which rounds half up to $166.67. Profit on Best is $66.67.
Why is the headline the last package?
The page shows one main figure. With Good, Better, and Best filled in that order, the main figure is Best at $166.67. The other prices are listed beside it.
Can I use names other than Good, Better, and Best?
Yes. The name you type is the name in the result. The price still comes from that line’s cost and margin.
Do I need an account?
