How this works and common questions

About this tool

Four parts share one total: lawn area times your price, garden area times your price, visits times your visit price, and a materials amount. A simple estimate, not advice. Before tax.

How it works

Lawn and garden each use length times width, the same area step as the square-footage tool, then times the price you type. Visits times the visit price use exact cents. A 40.00 by 25.00 lawn at $0.05 is $50.00. A 10.00 by 20.00 garden at $2.50 is $500.00. Eight visits at $75.00 are $600.00. Materials of $40.00 make $1,190.00.

Rules

Enter 0 for a part you are not quoting. No sales tax is added. This does not measure mulch, seed, or pavers. A simple estimate, not advice.

Questions

Does this add tax?

No. The quote is before tax.

How is the lawn amount rounded?

Area is half up to 0.01, then times your price, half up to the cent. 40.00 by 25.00 at $0.05 is $50.00.

Is the seasonal part a contract?

It is visits times the price you type. It is a simple estimate, not advice, and not a contract.

Do I need an account?

No. The tools work without one. You only need to sign in to save your work.

Is what I type saved?

No. Nothing is saved unless you sign in and choose Save. Otherwise it stays on the page.

Do you show ads or sell my information?

No. We show no ads and we do not sell your information.

Is this tax or legal advice?

No. Results are estimates for planning. Check rates and rules with the official source or a qualified professional.
