How this works and common questions
About this tool
Enter two prices and the quantity each one buys. The result is the lower price per unit. Both offers must use the same unit. The tool does not convert kilograms to pounds.
How it works
Each unit price is the price divided by the quantity. The lower one is the result. If they match, the result says they are the same. The gap is the difference per unit.
Rules
Unit price rounds to 4 decimal places of a dollar, half up. A quantity of zero cannot be divided. Use the same unit for both offers.
