How this works and common questions
About this tool
ROAS is revenue divided by ad spend. Break-even ROAS is 1 divided by the margin share of revenue you type. Profit after ads is that margin minus the spend. A simple estimate, not advice.
How it works
Divide revenue by ad spend. Break-even ROAS is 1 divided by the margin percent, so a 40% margin breaks even at 2.50. Profit after ads is revenue times that margin, minus the spend.
Rules
Half up to 2 decimal places. Margin is a percent you type, from 0 to 100. At 0% the break-even line says Not defined. A simple estimate, not advice.
Questions
What does break-even ROAS mean?
It is the return where the gross margin on the sales equals the ad spend.
Does this include tax or platform fees?
Only if they are already inside the revenue and margin you type.
Why is profit after ads negative?
The spend is larger than the margin on the revenue you entered.
