How this works and common questions

About this tool

You type the amount and each date. The page splits the amount into that many payments. No interest is added. A simple estimate, not advice. Nothing you type is stored.

How it works

The amount is divided by the number of dates. 1200.00 across 4 dates is 300.00 each. 100.00 across 3 dates is 33.33, 33.33, and 33.34. No interest is added.

Rules

Dates use YYYY-MM-DD. Payments are whole cents. Leftover cents go on the last date so the payments add up to the amount. This page does not add interest or tax.

Questions

Does this add interest?

No. It only splits the amount you type. The payments add up to that amount.

Who picks the dates?

You do. Add a row for each date. The page does not build a schedule for you.

What if the amount does not divide evenly?

Each payment is in whole cents. Leftover cents go on the last payment.

Do I need an account?

No. The tools work without one. You only need to sign in to save your work.

Is what I type saved?

No. Nothing is saved unless you sign in and choose Save. Otherwise it stays on the page.

Do you show ads or sell my information?

No. We show no ads and we do not sell your information.

Is this tax or legal advice?

No. Results are estimates for planning. Check rates and rules with the official source or a qualified professional.
