How this works and common questions

About this tool

Three calculators on one page. You type every amount. A simple estimate, not advice. Nothing is stored.

How it works

Cost per kilometre adds the costs you type and divides by the kilometres, rounded half away from zero to the cent. Load profit starts from revenue, subtracts kilometres times the per-kilometre cost you type, and subtracts extra costs. Trip cost is litres times the price per litre, rounded to the cent, plus tolls, meals and other costs.

Rules

A simple estimate, not advice. You type every figure, including the cost per kilometre on the load. This page does not supply a Canada Revenue Agency mileage rate. Nothing is stored.
