Subtract the spend from the revenue. Divide that difference by the spend to get the return, shown as a percent. Revenue divided by spend is the revenue per dollar spent.
Rules
Spend must be above zero. Money stays in cents. Percents round half away from zero to 2 decimals. A return below zero means the revenue was lower than the spend. A simple estimate, not advice.
