About this tool
You type the distance, the fuel use, the fuel price, a wear amount per kilometre, and your time at your hourly rate. This page does not supply those rates.
How it works
A round trip doubles the one-way distance. Fuel litres are distance times litres per 100 km, divided by 100. Fuel cost is those litres times your price per litre. Wear is distance times your amount per kilometre. Time is hours times your hourly rate. The total adds the three costs and rounds each to the cent, half up.
Rules
Every rate is one you type. Zero distance still counts your time if you enter hours. Fuel use is kept to the thousandth of a litre before the money is rounded. Nothing here is a government mileage rate.
