How this works and common questions
About this tool
Income lines add. Expense lines subtract. A simple estimate, not advice. The page does not pull figures from your books.
How it works
Pick the period. Add each income line and each expense line. Net is the sum of income minus the sum of expenses.
Rules
A simple estimate, not advice. Amounts stay in cents with no further rounding. A loss is shown with a minus. Copy and the CSV include every line.
Questions
How is the net calculated?
Income minus expenses, in cents. Sales of $10,000.00, materials of $4,000.00, and rent of $1,500.00 give a net of $4,500.00.
Can the result be a loss?
Yes. If expenses are larger, the net is negative and the sentence says it is a loss.
Does this replace financial statements?
No. It is the lines you type. A simple estimate, not advice.
Do I need an account?
No. The tools work without one. You only need to sign in to save your work.
Is what I type saved?
No. Nothing is saved unless you sign in and choose Save. Otherwise it stays on the page.
Do you show ads or sell my information?
No. We show no ads and we do not sell your information.
Is this tax or legal advice?
No. Results are estimates for planning. Check rates and rules with the official source or a qualified professional.
