Follow-up planner
Plan who to follow up with and when, and copy a ready-to-edit message. Nothing is sent from here.
You edit the message and send it yourself, from your own email or phone. The planner keeps dates and text only.

What this planner does
It keeps a list of follow-ups you mean to make, with the day for each, and gives you a message to edit and copy. It does not send anything, connect to your email or calendar, or run reminders. You stay in control of what you send.
Why follow-ups slip
A follow-up without a date is easy to forget. Putting a day on it and keeping the list in one place makes it easier to see what is due today.
Writing a clear follow-up
Say who it is for, what it is about and the one thing you are asking. Keep it short and polite. Read the message and edit it before you use it: it is built from a fixed template and what you typed.
How the groups work
Example: today is 2026-10-15. A follow-up set for 2026-10-14 is overdue. 2026-10-15 is today. 2026-10-16 and 2026-10-22 are in the next 7 days. 2026-10-23 is later. Overdue only means the date you typed has passed and the item is still open.
Dates and snooze
Example: a follow-up for 2026-10-05 stays 2026-10-05 when you save, reopen, copy or export it. Snooze 3 days on 2026-10-30 gives 2026-11-02, a Monday. On an overdue item, snooze counts from today: with today 2026-10-15, snooze 3 days gives 2026-10-18. Dates have no time of day.
The three tones
Friendly is warm and relaxed. Neutral is plain and brief. Firm is direct and plain, and still polite. None of them sets a deadline or mentions a consequence, and you can edit any message.
Printing or keeping a PDF
Print or save as PDF opens your browser's print window and prints the list only, not the messages. Choose "Save as PDF" as the printer to keep a file.
Common mistakes
- Leaving the date empty, so the follow-up never shows as due.
- Writing a vague topic, so the message does not say what it is about.
- Following up three times in one day.
Using your CSV
Export CSV downloads a file you can open in a spreadsheet: one row per follow-up, then the short disclaimer. Message text is not in the file. Text cells begin with an apostrophe when they start with a character a spreadsheet could read as a formula. Numbers in the file use a dot.
A note for Canadian businesses
Nothing is sent from this tool, so you stay in control of what you send. If you want to mention fees or interest, check your own written agreement, the official source or a qualified professional first. The templates here do not mention them.
Questions
Does it send messages?
No. It does not send, schedule or write to anyone. Copying a message does not send it or mark the follow-up as done.
Will it alert me by email?
No. It does not send anything, so open the planner to see what is due.
Can I use my calendar?
Not from here. The planner does not connect to a calendar and does not make a calendar file.
Are my edits to a message saved?
No. Messages are built again from the templates each time. Copy the message after you edit it. Your follow-up details are saved.
Who writes the messages?
They are fixed templates that fill in what you typed. You edit the result and send it yourself.
Do I need an account?
Only to save. Without an account, what you type stays on this page and nothing is saved.
How many follow-ups can a planner hold?
25. For more, save this planner and start another, or delete follow-ups you have finished.
