The daily cost is the amount you type times the price you type, plus any other cost per head. The herd total multiplies that by head count and days. Every weight, price and rate on this page is a number you type. This tool does not include a built-in weight, rate or price. Check with your vet.
How it works
Feed cost per head per day is the amount times your price, rounded to the cent, plus any other daily cost you type. The herd cost multiplies that by the number of animals. The period total multiplies again by the days.
Rules
Kilograms and pounds are not converted. Zero animals or zero days shows a zero herd total. A blank required field, a negative number, or two decimal separators does not produce a result.
Questions
Does this include a feed price?
No. You type the amount and the price. Nothing is filled in for you.
What if the herd count is zero?
The herd total shows as zero. The cost per head still uses the amount and price you type. Leave a field blank and the page asks you to enter it.
Does it convert kilograms and pounds?
No. The result stays in the unit you pick.
Do I need an account?
