Divide a job total by the area, or multiply a rate by the area. You can use square feet or square metres. You type every figure.
How it works
From a job total, the price per unit is the total divided by the area, rounded to the cent, half up. From a rate, the job total is the rate times the area, rounded the same way. Square metres use the same steps with that unit.
Rules
The area must be above zero. Use the job total when you already know what the job came to. Use the rate when you want to price an area. The unused money box can stay blank. This page does not add tax or extras you did not type.

Divide the job total by the area. $3,000 for 1,000 square feet is $3 per square foot.
Can I price a job by area?
