How this works and common questions
About this tool
The shop share of each sale is the percent you type, rounded half up to the cent. The consignor gets the rest, so the two shares add back to the sale. A simple estimate, not advice. Nothing you type is stored or sent.
How it works
Each sale is split by the shop percent. A $25.00 sale at 40% gives the shop $10.00 and the consignor $15.00. A $10.50 sale at 40% gives the shop $4.20 and the consignor $6.30. Together that is $21.30 for the consignor.
Rules
Up to 10 sales. The shop percent is the same for every row. Half cents go to the shop. Every row is in the copy and the CSV. A simple estimate, not advice.
Questions
What does the example pay the consignor?
A $25.00 hat and a $10.50 scarf at 40% pay the consignor $21.30. The shop keeps $14.20. Sales are $35.50.
Who gets a half cent?
The shop share rounds half up, so a half cent goes to the shop. One cent at 50% is $0.01 for the shop and $0.00 for the consignor.
