How this works and common questions

About this tool

Each row is a face value times how many you counted. The difference is the counted total minus the float. A simple estimate, not advice. Nothing is stored.

How it works

Each row multiplies the face value by the count. 10 twenties at 20.00 is 200.00. 8 fives at 5.00 is 40.00. 12 quarters at 0.25 is 3.00. Together that is 243.00. A 200.00 float leaves a difference of 43.00.

Rules

You choose the face values. A blank float skips the comparison. A float of zero is a real float. This sheet does not open a till and does not add tax.
