Enter distance, time and the minimum fee to see the total.
Travel is distance times the rate per kilometre. Time is hours times the hourly rate. Before tax, the charge is the larger of that sum and the minimum call-out fee.
Example: 40 km at 0.70, plus 1.5 hours at 85, is 155.50. The 95 minimum is lower, so the total before tax is 155.50.

About this calculation
How it works
Travel is distance times your rate per kilometre. Time is hours times your hourly rate. The charge before tax is the larger of that sum and the minimum call-out fee. A province you choose fills starting tax rates you can edit. Example: 40 km × 0.70 = 28.00, and 1.5 h × 85.00 = 127.50. The sum is 155.50, which is above a 95.00 minimum.
Rules
You type the kilometre rate, the hourly rate and the minimum. The province list only offers starting sales-tax rates you can change. This page does not say which rate you have to charge.
Which rate per kilometre should I use?
Type the rate you charge the customer. Check your own price list.
What if travel and time are under the minimum?
The charge before tax becomes the minimum fee you typed.
Does the page pick a tax rate?
No. Leave the province blank for no tax. If you choose one, the starting rates can be edited. Check the rate with the official source.
